The Weekly Warfare   Musings martial from across the SCA

The three main fighters down in Attilium each have separately come to me and said that they want to get better but they feel like at practice they just end up fighting each other over and over.  I provided my own thoughts to them, but am curious as to the thoughts of everybody else:

How can a group of intermediate fencers turn themselves (without the presence of an advanced fencer) into advanced fencers?

Dante, Dom, and Celric are known for having done this (though they did have Aedan), but it’s a rare and difficult feat.  Still, I think those guys could manage it if they really wanted to, and would like to set them on the best path.
